Alan Shortis is a photographer based in London, who occasionally puts his hands to music and design. He likes bridges and magazines with girls on the cover, and dislikes talking about himself in the third person.

While the bulk of my work is in music and architecture, I am currently working towards more abstract pieces using film and digital in different ways.

My work has been featured in Volume and Platforms magazines, and used uncredited in NME, The Guardian, Big Issue and Time Out. I am looking for gallery opportunities and for any other work that may suit my style.

In terms of design, I produce simple, clean web sites using XHTML and CSS, and subtle print work in Illustrator and Photoshop. I have some personal printed information design i progress.

I have made some simple music under the name 'overview' for a few years now. I intend to put more time into music in the near future, both in creating original music and mixes.
